Pain varies by placement and personal tolerance. Areas with more muscle (arms, thighs) tend to be more comfortable, while bony areas (ribs, wrists) can be more sensitive. Most clients describe the sensation as a consistent buzzing rather than sharp pain. We ensure your comfort throughout the session.
Get a good night's sleep, eat a proper meal before your session, and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area. Moisturise the area in the days leading up to your session.
Surface healing takes about 2–3 weeks, while the deeper layers of skin fully heal in 2–3 months. We provide a complete aftercare sheet after every session and are always available for guidance during your healing process.
Absolutely. We use only single-use, pre-sterilised needles and disposable tubes. All reusable equipment is autoclaved at hospital-grade standards. The workstation is disinfected between every client, and we wear fresh gloves throughout. Your safety is our first commitment.
Yes, cover-ups are one of our specialties. Bring your old tattoo in for a free consultation and we'll design something new that works with (or completely transforms) the existing ink. The approach depends on the size, colour, and darkness of the original piece.
We welcome walk-ins for smaller pieces and consultations. For larger or more detailed work, we recommend booking an appointment so we can dedicate proper time to your design and session. Call us at 8875449897 to schedule.
You must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo at Red Ink Tattoo Studio. Valid government-issued photo ID is required before every session. We do not make exceptions to this policy.
